Hoffmann Green obtains Saudi SQM certification

29 January 2026

Hoffmann Green  announces that it has obtained Saudi Quality Mark (SQM) certification issued by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO).

Hoffmann Green’s industrial tool was analyzed and revealed a robust quality management system that fully meets the technical and organizational requirements of the SASO standard. The Hoffmann Green industrial process was therefore declared compliant with the cement standards applied in Saudi Arabia.

This new certification attests Hoffman Green’s ability to optimally control its production process, operate reliable equipment, and deploy qualified staff, thereby ensuring the consistent performance of the cements developed and produced by the Company, in compliance with the most rigorous Saudi standards.

A catalyst for the large-scale deployment of Hoffmann Green solutions in the Middle East

This recognition marks a major step forward for Hoffmann Green. It positions the Company as the leading supplier of 0% clinker cement with industrial infrastructure certified to SASO standards, a prerequisite for accessing the construction materials market in Saudi Arabia or for any local industrial project.

Reaching this key milestone strengthens the license agreement signed with the Shurfah Group in Saudi Arabia, which aims to support the rise of carbon-free solutions tailored to local specificities.

Furthermore, by obtaining access to one of the world’s most dynamic construction markets, SASO certification is a decisive commercial lever for the industrialization and large-scale deployment of Hoffmann Green’s technologies in the Middle East.

Julien BLANCHARD and David HOFFMANN, Co-founders of Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies, say: “Obtaining SQM certification marks a key milestone in our development in Saudi Arabia. Hoffmann Green has complete control over its industrial processes thanks to its solid organization and rigorous quality system. These are essential elements that we will continue to capitalize on to support our industrial development in France and abroad.”
