A proactive CSR approach

Hoffmann Green acts according to a clear strategic line, respectful of the environment, giving a central role to the women and men of the company, through managerial and technical innovation, while paying particular attention to its customers and economic performance. The Company’s conviction is that environmental transition needs companies that not only are responsible but also positive contributors. In that respect, a proactive approach has been taken in terms of CSR, and the entire Company will thus be regularly audited.

A rating that already positions Hoffmann Green at the level of “Impactful innovator”

As a multi-stakeholder company, Hoffmann Green attaches great importance to the responsibility required to conduct its business. This is reflected not only in the consideration of the context and the analysis of economic and financial issues, but also in the attention paid to the extra-financial dimension. The Company has an overall extra-financial rating of 70.5/100, placing it at the level of “Impactful innovator”.

A major contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Hoffmann Green believes in the major role of companies in advancing social, economic and human development to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations. These SDGs form a universal and ambitious sustainable development agenda, an agenda “of the people, by the people and for the people”.

With a maximum score of 100% on all assessment principles (scope, reach, performance), Hoffmann Green achieves the “major contribution” level on two SDGs :

  • SDG 12: Establishing sustainable consumption and production patterns
  • SDG 13: Take urgent action to address climate change and its impacts

A promising level of ESG maturity

Despite the company’s young age, Hoffmann Green is already ahead of companies of equivalent size, with positive prospects for improvement in the short term.

With a maturity level assessed at “moderate+” in 2019, the Company already has a mature base in terms of values, professionalism, shareholder relations, client-partner relations, institutional ecosystem, environmental approach and talent recruitment.

Commitment to reforestation

Hoffmann Green Cement Technologies is committed to reforestation in France and joins forces with Reforest’Action to fully support projects to restore the environment and protect biodiversity. In this context, Hoffmann Green Cement will support the planting of 10,000 trees during the 2019-2020 season in the Occitanie region of Southern France.

Certified B Corp, Reforest’Action is a social enterprise created in 2010 by Stéphane Hallaire, whose primary mission is to raise awareness and take action for forests:

  • to raise awareness of the power of forests and the need to protect them,
  • act by preserving and restoring forests in France and around the world.
